The scheduling and actual visit were great. When I walked in I checked in on the screen, got a text with a link to pay which I did. Shortly after someone came to the front desk but didn’t speak to me. There was nobody else in the office but I waited about 15 min with no staff interaction before I finally asked if anyone knew we were there. She said they had a “procedure” in the back. We were called shortly after, and the visit was quick. I was bothered by her lack of engagement or interaction prior to my initiation

Friendly Staff

When checking in at the Texas MedClinic waiting time was lengthy, but once we were called to the back. The Medical Assistant was absolutely very Thorough has a excellent personality I would like if Esther skills were passed on to the intire team. The Doctor also was very thorough and explaining over the treatment and follow up. I diffently would recommend this facility. Just make sure and register online before arriving so it can cut down on the waiting time.

Staff was very friendly! The time-management of the office is poor. I had a 2ish appointment that was booked at 11 in the morning. Got there at 1:44, wasn’t taken to a back room until 2:40, and finally seen by a PA/doc at 3:20.  I get it can be busy, but then what’s the point of scheduling ahead of time if it still takes another hour and a half to be seen?  Better off to be walk-in’s.

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

My recent rapid Covid test was quick and easy. Very well organized staff. Super friendly, and they took the time to answer my questions. I did not have to enter the facility, but the last visit, from a year ago proved the staff at the facility took extra measures to ensure a clean and safe environment.

COVID test so i didn’t go inside. It’s great that they came to my car for the test. Schedule the appointment on line. PA Beth was very caring, friendly and knowledgeable. She called me with results about 20 minutes after we left so we didn’t have to wait in the parking lot. Excellent service!

Very professional; all questions asked where pertinent and answers were documented. I was told I would receive the results within about 15 minutes and I did I am very impressed and would absolutely recommend this facility for Covid testing

Due to testing I can not give a full rating on facility. But overall my experience was a positive one. Staff were friendly and doctor was Very polite. I live in San Antonio and would most likely not hesitate to make the trip to visit Main Street Urgent care again!

This place is wonderful, so friendly, fast, reliable and kind! I prefer to only go here for our covid testing! I’m so thankful for them and how they are helping our community!!

- Verified patient on 8/7

I have been here before for a Covid test and I had one again today. The staff is so kind and professional. I would definitely recommend this urgent care clinic.

- Verified patient on 4/12

First of all, it is very helpful and really streamlines the process to be able to do all paperwork, history, and download insurance card the day before the appointment online. That probably cuts out a good 20 mins or more of time. Then because of covid, they are seeing patients in our vehicles in a designated area in the back of the parking lot. It’s an organized, quick process. The nurse practitioner Beth came out on time, was very friendly, thorough & informative. The process only took about 15 mins including assessment and nasal swab for covid test. And she called me within 20-25 mins later with the result. Yes I was pleased and impressed. I will go back there if urgent care needed again. And yes I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone. Booked my appointment online on the urgent care website. They did not charge me at all. Not even the urgent care co-pay of $10. I’m guessing they will bill me after they file on my insurance.

A doctor and nurses came out side the building for COVID testing were very helpful and patient with the situation that we had for overseas travel. I wished we figured this out when I came to ask about the testing last week so that I didn’t need to reschedule the flights.

Boerne Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
