My husband has pneumonia, so as soon as I started coughing, I made an appointment at the new Marque Urgent Care on Alicia Parkway.  It was so easy to start an account and get in quickly.  The place is beautiful and the staff was so friendly.  Check-in was fast.  The PA was so knowledgeable about my asthma and gave me meds to keep it from becoming worse.  I feel so much better after only 2 days. They contacted me by phone and text to make sure I was better.  Love this place!

Thought I had unusually low blood pressure. I was getting a prescription from CVS next door and stopped in for a quick diagnosis. I was taken in and, the doctor examined me and was thorough enough to order a EKG. Staff was friendly and helpful and the doctor was polite and understanding.

I had a cold that wasn't getting any better. So I looked up Urgent Care centers in my medical app and up pops Carbon Health. Living right in the area was so convenient. I made an online appointment instead of walking in. And everything was perfect! I was taken care of, received prescriptions to pickup. They are so caring and professional there. I recommend to go to Carbon Health at Eastvale Merge. Should I ever need the service again, this is my place of choice. Thanks Carbon Health! I feel so much better today!

I’m not happy that no one told me the medication Paxlovid would cost me $600 unless I had a coupon in which case it would cost me $25

The PA was kind and non alarming!  I didn’t feel that way with the previous visit 2 days before! She explained things carefully, so I understood what I was dealing with and prescribed the correct medication! The previous PA told me I would get a call with the results of my urine  test, but I never got that call and my antibiotics needed to be changed. I developed a fever and came in again! Not sure why I never got that call???

Walked in without an appointment and was seen within 35 minutes. Check-in process as usual was expedient with minimal paperwork required. Front desk staff was very accommodating, cheerful, and welcoming. Staff did an excellent job assessing my condition followed by excellent care. A special shout out to PA Craig Jones and his assistant Mayra. PA Craig Jones thoroughly assessed my condition and provided crucial information related to my cause and recommended non-invasive treatment before opting for surgery. He is an extremely knowledgeable PA who was genuinely concerned about my condition. Mayra gave me two injections which was painless. Both of their bedside manners were impeccable. This wasn’t my first rodeo there I’ve been there on multiple occasions and have yet to save one bad thing about their facility their staff members check-in process and their wait time.  Again, thank you for the outstanding service that you provided me. I will be back!

Getting tested for Tuberculosis

A tuberculosis test identifies whether or not you've ever been infected. It won't tell you whether your illness is current or latent, but it will tell you if you've had this bacterial infection before.

A tuberculosis test can be performed on the skin or in the blood. Neither test necessitates any extra preparation.

During the skin test, the TB test provider injects a small protein called PPD beneath the first layer of your skin. A positive reaction to PPD, which is generated from tuberculosis bacteria, can indicate that you have had tuberculosis. After 48 to 72 hours, the TB test provider will request that you return to the clinic so that the injection site may be thoroughly checked to confirm or rule out a positive result.

During the blood test, the TB test practitioner takes a small sample of blood from your arm with a tiny needle. Following that, your sample is sent to a lab for examination and determination of whether or not you have tuberculosis.

When you have TB symptoms, you should get a tuberculosis test. Fever, chest pain, exhaustion, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, a cough that lasts at least three weeks, and coughing up blood are all symptoms of tuberculosis.

A tuberculosis test may be ordered if you are deemed to be at high risk for tuberculosis. A weaker immune system, contact with people who have tuberculosis, or travel to a country where tuberculosis is common are all risk factors for tuberculosis. Furthermore, some employers, including healthcare facilities, correctional facilities, and people who work or volunteer at homeless shelters, require employees to receive tuberculosis tests on a regular basis.
