The staff and provider who tested my daughter were excellent. They used gloves, masks and all safety equipment necessary to protect patients. Were kind, caring and thoughtful while providing test. Added a second screening since we received a negative, called us at home to give daughter instructions on how to feel better until PCR results come back. This is my 4th time visiting and I'll be back when we need testing in the future.

The doc wrote a scrip, sent it to pharmacy... they didn't have it so it was a runaround getting it. The place that had it was not covered by my insurance so I had to pay cash. It would have been much better if the doc checked to see if they had it... and or accepted my insurance. As it was, it was a big hassle and expensive to get meds.

Overview of STD Testing in Mount Clemens

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or are not consistently using protection. This includes both men and women, as well as those in monogamous relationships. According to the CDC, even if you do not have symptoms, you can still carry and transmit STDs. Therefore, regular testing is crucial for maintaining your health and the health of your partners.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a critical part of maintaining your overall health. If left untreated, STDs can lead to serious health complications such as infertility, cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of these complications. Additionally, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of STDs to others.
