I was impressed with the staff. I utilize this location from time to time. I read recent reviews and became concerned as to how I was going to be treated. The front desk employee was great, the nurse and doctor were proficient, friendly, and very resourceful. I was in and out quickly, as I came in with knowledge of my issue and the doctor was knowledgeable of the issue as well. I was confident in the doctorโ€™s diagnosis and advisement of scripts to expect. I will definitely recommend the location as I have done in the past.

Once we were seen, things were fine. However, we scheduled an appointment, got there shortly before the appointment time, and had to wait an hour and a half before we were called back. Then once we were called back, we had to wait another 45 minutes before we were seen by the doctor. ย This doesnโ€™t seem like thereโ€™s a good reason to schedule an appointment when youโ€™re not seen until an hour and a half after your appointment time. ย We have used this facility before and had to wait maybe 30 minutes, but this was really ridiculous and extremely frustrating!ย  In addition, I have called back several times to try to get the results of what the radiologist has said about the x-ray but because there is no one answering the phone and it is all automated there is no way to get these results unless I drive there. ย There needs to be a way to contact a human being when calling. Again very very frustrating.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, either through sexual contact, sharing needles, or from mother to child during childbirth, should get tested. This includes people who have had unprotected sex, those who have injected drugs, and people with HIV. Additionally, people born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C and should be tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many people with hepatitis, particularly hepatitis B and C, do not experience symptoms until the disease has caused significant liver damage. Early detection through testing allows for timely treatment, reducing the risk of liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Secondly, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent transmission to others. Lastly, testing is the first step towards getting treated and potentially cured, especially in the case of hepatitis C.
