The PA was kind and non alarming!  I didn’t feel that way with the previous visit 2 days before! She explained things carefully, so I understood what I was dealing with and prescribed the correct medication! The previous PA told me I would get a call with the results of my urine  test, but I never got that call and my antibiotics needed to be changed. I developed a fever and came in again! Not sure why I never got that call???

So amazing these caring souls that work here! I came in last minute with my daughter and in the kerfuffle of illness and getting her there on time we forgot her ID. The appointment I had originally was at 6:30 and they close at 7. We didn’t get back there with the ID until 6:50. The angel at the front desk called me to see if I was still coming! They helped us thoroughly, thoughtfully and with incredible kindness. Thank you immensely.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, has had unprotected sex, shared needles, or has traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis should consider getting tested. Additionally, those born to a mother with hepatitis, or individuals with chronic liver disease, should also be tested. According to the CDC, it's also recommended for all adults in the United States to get tested for hepatitis C, due to the increasing rate of transmission.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it often shows no symptoms until significant liver damage has occurred. Early detection can lead to treatments that can slow disease progression, prevent health problems related to the virus, and prevent transmission to others. According to the CDC, timely testing and treatment can reduce the risk of liver cancer by 75%.
