Came in after neck pain from a roller coaster ride. Was very courteous and professional.  Quickly noted I needed to go to the ER for treatment out of the scope of your practice. I appreciate your care given. As a nurse of 45 years was very impressed with your care. Thank you !!

I have Medicare and Humana Medicaid and yet this company bill me and charged my credit card $219. I’ve been trying to have Priva bill the insurance for a month. Also to refund my credit card. I get the same bs story they act like I haven’t called five times already. They say we’ll bill the insurance and refund your card. But never do. I will start a blog, because I’m over getting ripped of by Priva.

I went on a Saturday morning for nail injury and I checked in on my phone when I came in. I was greeted and called quickly. All the staff were nice and professional, I can’t remember all their names but I do remember Melissa the provider who was very gentle, kind, and professional. I was in a lot of pain and she did great. The clinic was very clean and organized!! Left satisfied and with way less pain.

Urine test and UTI solved.  Knowledgable & kind staff. This was the second time I have been here. 1 time with a friend who almost cut her finger off with a utility knife and this time as the patient.  Both times were 5 star! Thank you!

Finally gave up fighting my sinus infection without medical help. I called your Tyrone office and spoke to Samantha. She assured me the office could help with my problem and explained the online reservation system. Reserving and registering was very easy. The entire care team is top notch. I left the office with a smile. Thank you all.

My first time at Guidewell today made a lasting impression on me. From my phone conversation with receptionist, the ease at scheduling appt, the quick response time for that appt, I was already impressed. Wait time at the office was minimal; Katherine (ARNP) was so caring, gentle and kind. She listened to everything I told her, and made the decision for me to have X-RAYS taken. After having this procedure done, Katherine came back into the room and made some great recommendations for me to follow through with. I only wish I could make Guidewell my Primary Healthcare Provider! Marsha

Front desk was a bit meh…. But maybe that’s just her demeanor. Wasn’t the usual girls who are bright and bubbly there. They set the bar pretty night though and maybe she was just having an off day. It was pretty busy so I can understand. My only issue is that we checked in online and told we had to be in 15 minutes before our appt, only to wait in the lobby for over an hour. I get that you’re busy but why not just make the check in time at the actual time? That was frustrating. I go there because that’s not an issue.

Been suffering with what appeared to be cold symptoms, but turned into a really bad cough so went to the walk-in clinic. I was able to schedule an appointment online. They took me an immediately. The PA was very thorough, explain things to me very well, ordered medicine for me for the  cough and inflammation and congestion. The young lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The PA was awesome and I would definitely come here again and recommend it to anyone.

Urgent care in Largo, FL

Largo sits in central Pinellas County between Clearwater and St. Petersburg, with a high share of retirees and seasonal residents who rely on convenient outpatient and walk-in care. You can book a same-day visit at an urgent care clinic in Largo, FL on Solv, or see options for urgent care in Tampa when you need a clinic outside the immediate area.

What services do urgent care clinics in Largo offer?

Largo urgent care clinics treat the everyday acute issues that don't need a hospital — minor injuries, lacerations, sprains and strains, flu and strep testing, COVID-19 testing, UTIs, rashes, ear infections, pink eye, minor burns, and seasonal allergies. Most also offer on-site X-ray, lab draws, IV fluids for dehydration, sports and DOT physicals, occupational health and workers' compensation visits, and travel vaccines. HCA Florida Largo Hospital and BayCare Health System operate the largest networks in central Pinellas, with multiple walk-in clinics along Ulmerton Road and East Bay Drive.2 For an everyday problem that needs same-day attention, a walk-in clinic is typically faster and significantly less expensive than an emergency-room visit. Most Largo clinics handle both adults and children, support online booking with a published estimated wait time, and process electronic insurance verification at check-in. Many also offer telehealth visits as an alternative when symptoms don't require an in-person evaluation, which is useful for simple respiratory symptoms, medication refills, or follow-up consultations.

Does urgent care in Largo accept Medicaid?

Many urgent care clinics in Largo accept Medicaid, Florida's Medicaid program administered by AHCA.1 Coverage varies by provider — managed care plan participation differs across networks, so confirm acceptance of your specific plan and managed care organization before booking. Some independent clinics participate with a narrower subset of Medicaid plans than the larger hospital-affiliated walk-in networks. According to KFF State Health Facts, Medicaid covers a meaningful share of Florida residents and is one of the most common payers at retail-style urgent care centers nationally.3 If a particular clinic doesn't accept your plan, ask about cash-pay rates — most sites publish a transparent visit price for self-pay patients.

How does Largo urgent care relate to Tampa?

Largo is one of three core cities on the Pinellas Peninsula along with Clearwater and St. Petersburg, all part of the broader Tampa Bay metropolitan area. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Largo had a population of approximately approximately 82,500 as of the 2020 Census, which shapes both the density of clinics and the mix of providers you'll find locally.4 For most everyday issues — fevers, sprains, lacerations, strep — local walk-in clinics resolve the visit without ever needing a trip into the larger metro. When a clinic in town is closed or fully booked, residents often expand the search to urgent care in Tampa for additional walk-in and bookable options, particularly for late-night or holiday visits when smaller-town hours are more limited.

Costs for a typical Largo urgent care visit run substantially lower than an emergency-room visit for the same problem. Most walk-in clinics collect a copay or coinsurance at the front desk for insured patients, with cash-pay rates for common visit types like strep tests, UTI evaluation, school and sports physicals, and basic injury care typically published on the clinic's website or visible during booking. Choosing a walk-in clinic over the ER for non-emergency problems saves both money and time — most urgent care visits resolve in under an hour, compared with multi-hour ER waits during busy periods. When you book on Solv, you can compare insurance acceptance, cash-pay pricing, and current wait times across clinics in Largo and the surrounding area before you arrive.
