I was so impressed with my first visit that I wanted to write a review. The place was so clean, yet warm and welcoming. Each staff member was very attentive and so very pleasant with me. I had Robert Valley MD and he was excellent. He was caring, sweet and I just wish he had his own practice. Gosh, I adore him. I was treated and my scripts were sent to my pharmacy while I was checking out. He knew exactly how to treat my ailment and had me feeling better within hours. I will definitely go back there if I ever have the need. I strongly recommend this office!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus or is at risk should get tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles, have had unprotected sex, have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, or have a family history of the disease. According to the CDC, it's also recommended that all adults aged 18 and older get tested for hepatitis C, as there's been a significant increase in the number of cases among young adults.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection allows for prompt treatment, which can prevent these complications. Additionally, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the virus to others.

Community health centers often offer free or low-cost STD testing, including hepatitis. Check with local health centers in Weirton and surrounding areas for availability.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits provide another convenient option for hepatitis testing. These kits can be ordered online, used at home, and then sent back to a lab for analysis.
