AFC urgent care was open the day after Christmas when my regular doctor wasn’t. The only issue I had was a long wait to be seen despite making an appointment, but given all the viruses going around this time of year, I should have expected it. They’re giving only staff was friendly and helpful despite being extremely busy. The medical staff was thorough and got me the help I needed.

Everything was great, the wait was a little longer than usual. It is expected during this season. This is the only place I use for urgent care matters when the primary pediatric office is closed. Great service.

I had a allergic reaction and my top lip was really swollen. My experience was great, from check in to speaking with the nurse. I felt the nurse was a straight shooter as if I was talking to a friend. The lady who checked me in after I showed her my lips because I had my mask on, she was prepared once the nurse was done speaking with me. I really appreciate the both of them and I am doing better. Thank you again..

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the virus, has been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis, or exhibits symptoms of hepatitis should get tested. This includes individuals who have used shared needles, have had unprotected sex, or have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis. Additionally, those with chronic liver disease or HIV should also get tested, as they are at higher risk for hepatitis.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for early detection and treatment. Hepatitis can lead to severe liver damage if left untreated, including cirrhosis and liver cancer. Early detection allows for immediate treatment, which can slow disease progression and prevent further liver damage. According to the CDC, testing also helps prevent the spread of the virus to others.
