The staff and provider who tested my daughter were excellent. They used gloves, masks and all safety equipment necessary to protect patients. Were kind, caring and thoughtful while providing test. Added a second screening since we received a negative, called us at home to give daughter instructions on how to feel better until PCR results come back. This is my 4th time visiting and I'll be back when we need testing in the future.

My daughter was not feeling good today and I decided to get her checked. It was my first time at this urgent care and I was so thankful they’re open 24 hours! The wait time to get in was prompt. I loved that we had to scan a QR code to get all the paperwork done. With everything going on lately, I wouldn’t want to keep passing on or receiving whatever everyone that goes in there has! The staff was beyond amazing and friendly! The nurse that checked my daughter was so soft spoken and sweet. Dr Geller was very nice and I loved that he spoke directly to my daughter and explained everything to her the whole time and acknowledged her as the young lady she is! This is a great urgent care and I would recommend them to anyone!

Doctor Abdelbkais was extremely attentive and generous. Front desk was pretty good. The only thing the MA gave false readings on my vitals, the pulse ox never read, but she said she seen numbers. Other than that visit was good.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, has engaged in high-risk behavior such as sharing needles or having unprotected sex, or is experiencing symptoms should get tested. Symptoms can include jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), fatigue, nausea, and abdominal pain. Additionally, individuals born between 1945 and 1965, commonly known as baby boomers, are at a higher risk of hepatitis C and should be tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, it allows for early detection which can prevent serious liver damage. Secondly, it can prevent the spread of the virus to others. Lastly, it can lead to treatment and in many cases, cure. According to the CDC, new treatments can cure most people with hepatitis C in just 8-12 weeks.
