Had to schedule an appointment for an infection. Scheduling online was very simple. The doctor and nurse were great and had great bedside manner. The only really off putting moment was the front desk girl was talking to someone on her air buds the entire time I was there, she was talking when I got there and was still talking after my appointment. She was not friendly and literally told me I had a copay and took my credit card and went back to talking.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person should get tested for hepatitis. This includes people who have shared needles or other drug-injection equipment, had sexual contact with an infected person, or were born to a mother with hepatitis. Additionally, people who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, or those with certain medical conditions such as liver disease or HIV, should also consider testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it is often asymptomatic, meaning people can carry the virus and spread it to others without knowing they are infected. Early detection allows for timely treatment, which can prevent liver damage and other serious complications. According to the CDC, hepatitis B and C are leading causes of liver cancer, making testing and early detection even more vital.
