I am vacationing here and developed symptoms of UTI. I haven’t used an urgent care facility for several years. The website was pretty easy to schedule appointment. Staff was very friendly and provider was as well. Total time spent there was 2 hours which I feel was excessive for urgent care. I am a retired nurse so very familiar with how things need to flow. I am grateful to be able to be seen. Thank you!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who is at risk for hepatitis should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have been exposed to the virus through unprotected sex, shared needles, or close contact with an infected person. Additionally, those who have traveled to areas with high hepatitis prevalence, have a family history of the disease, or have certain medical conditions that affect the liver should also consider testing. According to the CDC, early detection is key in managing the disease and preventing further complications.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it helps in early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of severe liver damage. It also helps in preventing the spread of the virus to others. The CDC emphasizes the importance of testing as many people with hepatitis often do not show symptoms until the disease has progressed.
