First time here. Went to the website saw the availability of times and was very happy to see I could get in basically at any time. Made the appointment. Did most of the forms prior to appointment. Had several forms to do once at the office. Barely sat down, called into exam room. Asst took vitals, Dr came in around 10 minutes later, diagnosed me and out the door I went!! Iโ€™m sure Iโ€™ll be back here again!

Allergy season had been wreaking havoc on my system for over a week and I couldn't take anymore when my chest began rattling from all the wheezing. The wait time was under 15 min. Bradley was so patient and attentive. I had a breathing treatment in the office and meds were called in immediately. Would definitely recommend.

First would like to say like to everyone working the day I came in. Had a bad fall and had to have stitches removed. Place was very nice and clean got an appointment right when I needed it. The receptionist was kind and helpful. The doctor and the pa on site were very friendly, kind and considerate of all my needs. I also had to have X-rays done to check something I didnโ€™t feel when I fell a week before. With no problem they were also done and thankfully all was ok. I definitely will go back the next time for either me or a family or friends. ย Ty so much Nicole

I was able to get an appointment quickly. There was a bit of a wait even with an appointment. But I was glad to be seen the same day as I made the appointment. Itโ€™s good to have someone to go too when my PC giver is unavailable.

I hate doctors!!! ย But this was the best experience ever. ย Major infection from poison ivy and an insane and painful full body rash. ย The staff and Dr. were great and exceeded my expectations. ย I got information and the meds needed to recover (soon hopefully). Also picked up some referrals. A big thank you to this Doc and his crew. ย Five Stars!

I had a low grade fever and fatigue over the weekend and walked in on Monday. Waited maybe 5 minutes. Staff was attentive, ran some tests, did a chest x-ray and concluded I had some viral infection. Wrote me an Rx for conjunctivitis, but just told me to rest and drink plenty of fluids, take Ibuprofen every 4 hours, which I have been doing. As of Wednesday morning I still have the chills and fever, so I wish they would have given me a Z pack. I will see how today goes but may need to come back.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the virus should get tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, received a blood transfusion before 1992, or were born to a mother with hepatitis. Additionally, healthcare workers, people with HIV, and those with liver disease should also get tested. According to the CDC, anyone born between 1945 and 1965 should get tested for Hepatitis C, as this age group is five times more likely to be infected.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it is often asymptomatic in its early stages. If left untreated, it can lead to severe liver damage, including cirrhosis and liver cancer. Early detection allows for prompt treatment, which can prevent these complications and slow the disease's progression. Furthermore, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the disease to others.

Hepatitis testing options in Robbinsville, NJ:

Urgent care and walk-in clinics

Robbinsville residents can access hepatitis testing at urgent care and walk-in clinics. For instance, Carbon Health in nearby Trenton offers highly rated services with short wait times. You can book same-day and next-day appointments through Solv's website and mobile app.

Primary care providers

Primary care providers are another option for hepatitis testing. They can provide comprehensive care, including testing, treatment, and follow-up.

Free STD testing and community health centers

Community health centers often offer free or low-cost STD testing, including hepatitis. These centers are a valuable resource for those without insurance or those who cannot afford testing.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits for hepatitis are also available. These kits allow for privacy and convenience, as you can take the test at home and send it to a lab for analysis.

Prevalence of hepatitis in Robbinsville

While specific data for Robbinsville is not readily available, Monmouth County, where Robbinsville is located, has seen an increase in hepatitis cases in recent years, mirroring a national trend. According to the CDC, hepatitis B and C are particularly prevalent among baby boomers.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Robbinsville

Risk factors for hepatitis in Robbinsville are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include drug use, unprotected sex, and exposure to infected blood. Socioeconomic factors, such as access to healthcare and education, also play a role.

Other STDs in Robbinsville

In addition to hepatitis, other STDs, including gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, and syphilis, are present in Robbinsville. These diseases often share similar risk factors and transmission methods with hepatitis. Therefore, it's crucial to get tested for all STDs if you believe you've been exposed or are at risk.
