Dr. Brian Harvey is the best provider I have ever seen. He made me feel important and spent as much time in the room as I needed. He was calm, collected, and didnโ€™t rush me at all when helping me deal with my problem. I highly recommended seeing Dr. Harvey for your health related concerns.

My 6 year old son ended up having Scarlett Fever. ย We took him to his pediatrician in the morning and they did NOTHING. We were fortunate enough to get my 6 year old son and 10 year old daughter in. ย The entire staff was INCREDIBLE! From the receptionist to the nurses to Dr. Anthony.ย  They ran strep tests, took his temperature, and gave him a couple of antibiotics. ย My kids thought they were really nice! ย Great staff, very professional, awesome bedside manner and the office was clean! ย  We are veru grateful and highly recommend!

Everything was great!!! The nurse practitioner was fabulous. The only suggestion is that you need to get all of your staff registered with public aid. ย Unfortunately the prescriptions cost 100.00. ย This is the 2 nd provider that was not registered!! Again facility and Dr were fabulous!!!

Have been dealing with issues regarding an infected navel piercing and pushing back a doctors visit because I am always afraid of needing to go. Immediately greeted by such friendly and caring check-in staff. I have no insurance so they were able to help negotiate a price that worked for me. The nurse and doctor who saw me were so friendly and understanding of my fears and situation. They listened to everything I told them and offered me many solutions to my problems, even still understanding my lack of insurance and showing me where to find the cheapest options for prescriptions. All the staff made me feel cared for, as if they were friends of mine Iโ€™ve known for a long time. I was in and out in about an hour and am looking forward to my second visit. I would recommend this provider to everyone I know, especially anyone who is normally afraid of being in hospital settings or doctors.

The receptionist and PA that was there today (2/20/2019)were great and amazing! My only complaint was that the nurse on staff today was not so warm and welcoming let alone have 1 smile on her face . Other than her I was very happy with our visit today .

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to hepatitis or is at risk should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have had unprotected sex, shared needles, or have had a blood transfusion prior to 1992. Also, those who have traveled to or are from countries with high rates of hepatitis, have a liver disease, or have been in close contact with someone with hepatitis should get tested. According to the CDC, testing is also recommended for all pregnant women and people with HIV.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. Early detection can prevent the spread of the virus to others and allow for prompt treatment, reducing the risk of liver disease and liver cancer. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not have symptoms, so testing is the only way to know your status.

Prevalence of hepatitis in Cary

The prevalence of hepatitis in Cary is reflective of trends seen in Cook County and nearby areas. According to the CDC, the incidence of hepatitis in the region has been relatively stable over the past few years. However, it's important to note that many cases of hepatitis go unreported as people may not know they are infected due to lack of symptoms.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Cary

Risk factors for hepatitis in Cary are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include unprotected sex, sharing needles, having a blood transfusion before 1992, and close contact with a person with hepatitis. Traveling to or being from a country with high rates of hepatitis is also a risk factor.
