The PA was kind and non alarming!ย  I didnโ€™t feel that way with the previous visit 2 days before! She explained things carefully, so I understood what I was dealing with and prescribed the correct medication! The previous PA told me I would get a call with the results of my urine ย test, but I never got that call and my antibiotics needed to be changed. I developed a fever and came in again! Not sure why I never got that call???

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who believes they may have been exposed to the hepatitis virus should get tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia, have had unprotected sex with a person infected with hepatitis, or have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis. Furthermore, healthcare workers and those with chronic liver disease should also consider regular testing.

Importance of getting tested

Hepatitis is a serious disease that can lead to liver damage, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer if left untreated. Early detection through testing is crucial for effective treatment and management of the disease. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, making regular testing even more important.
