Angelica was extremely rude, honestly a shame because this clinic has amazing medical staff. I work with patients everyday and would never speak to a patient like she did. I am unsure she even recognizes she is doing it.

Took a spill and feared a broken bone in my hand. South Huron Urgent Care took great care of me. Waited about five minutes to be seen. Dr Cindy is great!! X-rayed, splinted and I'm ready to go, with follow up instructions that she went over with me.  She showed me the x-ray, and explained what was going on. They took time and care with me. Office staff is friendly and personable too. Highly recommend!!

Overview of STD Testing in Brighton

Who should get tested for STDs?

According to the CDC, sexually active individuals, particularly those with multiple or new partners, should get tested for STDs regularly. This includes both men and women, as well as those in same-sex relationships. It's also recommended that individuals who have engaged in unprotected sex, shared needles for drug use, or have been diagnosed with another STD get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial in maintaining both your own health and the health of your partners. Many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning you could be infected without showing any signs or symptoms. Early detection through testing can prevent complications such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and other long-term health problems. According to the CDC, regular testing also helps to prevent the spread of these diseases, contributing to a healthier community.
