Sunday evening developed a sore throat & a runny nose, thought it was allergies. Wednesday came took my temperature it was 102, awhile later I took it again it was 103 at time I decide to go to my nearest Urgent Care. Got there every one I met was so polite. Met with Alexa Klapach, PA the results were I had Strep Throat sure glad it wasn't Covid again. I was so satisfied with service & Care I would recommend American Family Care to family & friends. .

Getting a covid test was a super easy and quick experience here! Would highly recommend this location.

- Verified patient on 11/21

I had an excellent experience at Live Urgent Care in Morris Plains getting my COVID PCR test. The nurse really rescued my vacation for me. Thanks so much.

- Verified patient on 9/25

Great experience. Easy to book a appoint, fill up the paperwork online and not waiting time, ohh you don’t have to walk inside the office, you wait in the car and they come over to do the test in your car.

- Verified patient on 11/1

Overall it was a good experience. A few things though I would highly recommend you work on. Directions to get to location were OK but your office is tucked away in the back of a strip mall. You should include on your web site where EXACTLY we should park when we get there. Also, at first we weren't sure whether of not we were being scammed because you required payment only to be by credit card or cash even though we have heard over and over again that these tests are free. Maybe do a better job on you web site why our medical insurance could not pay for it. Your staff once we got there were excellent, helpful and friendly.

Refs Covid test in my car. I cannot respond to info about the facility. The app wouldn’t let me sign in for at least 10-15 mins. I was concerned that I mig HT lose my place in line. But all went fairly and I received my test as scheduled. I did arrive early as instructed

You all were great from sign up to testing , quick and easy, and online setup is easy and right with the times ~

- Verified patient on 12/15

The staff who have administered their tests are very professional and calm, which is very helpful given that COVID nasal swabs can be uncomfortable. They help make the experience more enjoyable.

- Verified patient on 11/15

Excellent communications via phone , text and online experience. Set up and Test on time and as planned . Thank you We await our results. The quick turn around in same day is what got us here . Best to you ~

The women working at the Morris Plains office yesterday was simply terrific. She was so helpful and most patient with me. I did not have an appointment, but she managed to squeeze me in for a COVID test. She helped me with filling out the forms on my phone and was so pleasant.

- Verified patient on 12/9

The person who administered the Covid rapid PCR test was very kind and patient; I have not had a Covid test before, so I appreciated her telling me that it would not hurt.

- Verified patient on 9/5

Outstanding. The nurse who checked me in and took my test was very nice and very professional

- Verified patient on 3/3

Process was so simple. They come to your car for COVID test. Leona was fantastic to deal with during the visit.

- Verified patient on 10/2

Such a sweety the girl who took care of me. Very informative, patient, and didn't hurt me as bad as other people who have tested me before.

- Verified patient on 4/5

Very quick & efficient. The only slight inconvenience was that I had parked on the wrong side of the building, and since testing takes place in the car which I didn’t realize, I had to walk back to my car and move it over to the right location. It would be nice if they notified you in advance that the front door is actually on the side of the building not facing the road and that the testing with occur in the car. It’s great that results come directly via text to your phone.

- Verified patient on 8/18

Quick and easy visit. Great staff member performing my COVID test. No discomfort. Was just a little hard to find the place. All good.

- Verified patient on 3/30

Alissa was terrific! The test took no time. Bell on front door doesn’t work so we went around to the back door. Other than that a great experience!

- Verified patient on 3/14

Very happy with my testing and the answers provided from my staff member. In and out quickly and painlessly!

- Verified patient on 3/17

Quick in and out, would recommend. Got an appointment last minute for a rapid covid test.

- Verified patient on 11/21

Went for a rapid covid test. Staff was great and no wait. Just curious on why I was charged and not insurance..

Morris Plains Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
