This was my second visit in last 6 months and just like my first it is a great place to go for treatment . Super clean and really nice staff . Check in on line and set a hold spot for me and couldnโ€™t have been any better . My spouse went on a weekend and said that was not what happened with her so Iโ€™m sure they have busy times also but during the weekdays is great .

We were visiting from out of town and came in without an appointment after a fall caused a skin injury to my leg. After giving some preliminary information we were seen within 10 minutes. After taking my vitals, my wound was assessed, materials gathered, and treatment was completed. Then a dressing was applied and we were given medication and dressing materials needed for a change of the dressing later in the week. Everyone we contacted was knowledgeable, caring, professional and treated us like family. We would recommend this facility to anyone who requires urgent care. Thank you all for taking such good care of us!

I walked in pain and feeling like I was going to vomit with no appt. After the little paperwork they offered me a barf bag. After only a short wait I was put into a room. I felt like I had an UTI so I had to give a sample. After 3 bottles of water & much time I couldnโ€™t. I was vomiting. My nurse kept checking on me. The doctor gave me a shot to stop all my pain & vomiting as soon as I got into the room again. Great service by everyone.

Went to work feeling bad with a sore throat fever and chest congestion. But i went on a head and finished my short shift. After work I went on a head did a walk-in visit at Baptist urgent Care the waiting was amazing soon as I checked in not even 5 minutes I was called to see the doctor's nurse went over everything with me and check my temperature, cotton swab my nose and mouth for covid and the flu. The nurse told me to be about no more than 25 minutes or less for the results and the doctor sure enough arrives and was very pleasant and nice talk to me explain to me my results and it wasn't covid it was the flu then the doctor recommended I I take a few days off from work and take my medicine that she prescribed to me along with rest and drinking plenty of water. Happy patient ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ

About Inflammation Marker Testing

Inflammation Marker Testing is a group of diagnostic tests that measure various markers in the blood to assess the presence and severity of inflammation in the body. Inflammation is a natural response of the immune system to infections and injuries. However, chronic inflammation may indicate an underlying health condition, such as autoimmune diseases, infections, or certain cancers. Inflammation Marker Testing plays a crucial role in identifying and monitoring inflammatory conditions, allowing healthcare providers to formulate appropriate treatment plans.

Who Should Get Tested

If you reside in McRae, Arkansas, and have symptoms suggestive of chronic inflammation, such as persistent pain, fever, fatigue, or unexplained weight loss, Inflammation Marker Testing is recommended. Additionally, individuals with a history of autoimmune disorders or those undergoing treatment for inflammatory conditions may benefit from these tests to assess disease activity and response to therapy.

Tests Included in Inflammation Marker Testing

Inflammation Marker Testing may include:

  • C-reactive Protein (CRP) Test
  • Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) Test
  • Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential
  • Other markers such as Interleukin-6 (IL-6) and Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-alpha)

Interpreting the Results

The interpretation of Inflammation Marker Testing results involves evaluating the levels of specific markers in the blood. Elevated levels of CRP, ESR, and other inflammatory markers may indicate the presence of inflammation and the severity of the inflammatory response. These results help healthcare providers diagnose and manage inflammatory conditions.

Importance of Inflammation Marker Testing

Inflammation Marker Testing is important for:

  • Diagnosing and monitoring inflammatory conditions
  • Assessing disease activity and treatment response
  • Identifying potential underlying causes of chronic inflammation
  • Guiding treatment decisions and adjusting therapy as needed

Following the Test

After Inflammation Marker Testing, healthcare providers discuss the results with individuals and develop a comprehensive treatment plan based on the specific inflammatory condition. Treatment may involve anti-inflammatory medications, immunosuppressive drugs, lifestyle modifications, and regular follow-up to monitor disease progression.

Inflammation Marker Testing is a valuable tool for healthcare providers in McRae, Arkansas, to assess and manage inflammatory conditions effectively, leading to improved patient outcomes and quality of life.
