Scheduling was easy and was there early to check in but still had to wait. My visit was pretty quick. My appointment was at 3PM. I got there at 2:45 and I left at 4. Time spent with the provider was probably less than 10 minutes.

Everyone was fantastic. All the children's urgent cares were full so we took my son in for a persistent fever on advice of our pediatrician. We were in and out in 20 minutes and felt like we got excellent care.

Everyone at Indigo Urgent Care was extremely helpful & incredibly nice. They listened to me, checked everything out, & formulated a great plan of care. I appreciated that when one of the providers was not entirely sure about something she got a second opinion from another provider, which was great.

Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care is my favorite urgent care to go to. Convenient online scheduling, easy check-in process, fast wait times, concerns are addressed appropriately, friendly staff, and you're out in about an hour from start to finish. The only area that could be improved is if you have questions after your appointment, it's hard to get a hold of anyone, and then you don't get a call back. I highly recommend Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care

The front desk staff and nurse were super friendly and nice. The xray machine wasn't working at this facility, which they really should let the patient know before they make an appointment.. I was seen by a nurse practitioner, Kamaal I believe. ย She seemed nice, however, she didn't seem too concerned and asked minimum questions. I don't feel like my concern was ย fully addressed/resolved. ย I should have just gone to my primary care instead of paying $100 copay only to be told, "just keep up with warm fluids and come back again if it gets worst", because it's just that easy to come back and pay another $100 copay again. I drove about 18 miles to get seen at this location because appointments at the clinic near me get booked super fast.. I mentioned that to the provider that I don't want to drive this far again just one day later..and I was told "try making an appointment a day before near you then" (because clearly, I didn't try that and chose to drive that far in snowy weather). Last time I was sick with this horrendous cough and phlegm, a provider at different location told me exactly the same that it's just a viral, only for me to end up at my primary care the next day who diagnosed me with pneumonia! I see a similar review here from another patient ending up with pneumonia because your provider here, misdiagnosed her.. I sure hope the nurse practitioner didn't miss anything.. I couldn't ask for x-ray anyway, since it wasn't working at this location. I did mention to her that last time with exact same thing, I was prescribed antibiotics and she brushed it off saying "it's just a viral".. Not sure how she decided on that when she didn't even do an xray.ย  I was not all satisfied with my treatment by this provider at this location. Multicare Indigo, you need to fix your mistakes and train your providers, instead of copy pasting the same response to all the low rating reviews. Looking at the reviews here, no wonder this location always has multiple appointments available as compare to other locations.

It took me only a few moments to schedule a same day appointment. ย This was my second visit and both times I was impressed by the ease of getting an appointment, the friendly efficiency of the front desk, the cleanliness of the space, and especially appreciative of the quality of medical care I received. ย Iโ€™m really glad we have Indigo Care in Marysville!

check in is always nice and quick and immediate which is what we appreciate the most. The nurse that greeted us and got us started was very friendly and welcoming.ย  The provider named Miguel is not very personable and asked us whatโ€™s our goal to be there.. that question threw us off a little. He treated us like a business and it was just here ok here is your prescription have a good day. ย Iโ€™ve seen him in the past and felt uncomfortable that I didnโ€™t move forward with any suggestions he provided in the past. Appreciate that he gave me and my son prescriptions but he didnโ€™t really explain to me what was going on with me but did with my son. Wished he didnโ€™t treat us like a transaction he tried to complete.ย  No, I do not recommend this provider.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, hepatitis testing is recommended for individuals who fall into certain risk categories. These include people who have been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person, those who have had unprotected sex with an individual who has hepatitis, individuals who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia, and those who have lived or traveled in regions with high rates of hepatitis. In addition, those with chronic liver disease or HIV should also be tested for hepatitis, as these conditions can increase the risk of complications.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial in preventing the spread of the disease and ensuring timely treatment. Hepatitis can lead to serious health problems, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection allows for prompt treatment, which can significantly reduce the risk of these severe complications. Furthermore, those who are aware of their hepatitis status can take steps to prevent transmitting the virus to others.

At-home testing

Prevalence of hepatitis in Poulsbo

The prevalence of hepatitis in Poulsbo, located in Kitsap County, is consistent with the national average, according to the CDC. However, rates can fluctuate over time and vary between different populations within the city. It's important to note that these figures may not reflect the true prevalence of hepatitis, as many people with the virus are unaware of their infection and thus, are not reported.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Poulsbo

Risk factors for hepatitis in Poulsbo are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include unprotected sex, sharing needles or other drug paraphernalia, exposure to infected blood or body fluids, and travel to regions with high rates of hepatitis.
