I knew I needed a quick doctor visit with a busy day ahead of me. I was able to schedule easily online then got in and got out in no time flat. Staff was very friendly! The NP, Beth, was awesome. Very kind and attentive plus she explained the medications perfectly so I knew what to expect. My prescriptions were sent in a timely manner- which I truly appreciated. I have not had good experiences with urgent care facilities in the past but Apex CiniCare changed my mindset and will be my new urgent care go to!

A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, either through sexual contact, sharing needles, or from an infected mother to her baby during birth, should get tested. This also includes those who have traveled to countries where hepatitis is prevalent, individuals with a history of alcohol or drug abuse, and those with certain medical conditions that affect the liver. According to the CDC, it's recommended that all adults aged 18 and older get tested for hepatitis C, as it's the most common form of viral hepatitis in the United States.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection can lead to treatments that can cure this infection and prevent these severe health complications. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not have symptoms and don't know they are infected, making testing even more important.
