Juan, the medical assistant was good and receptive. The PA who saw me was also good but I just didn't agree with her recommendations. She was gracious to accept my opinion and she maintained her professionalism despite my disagreement. She did tell me that she was putting me on dexamethasone but forgot to explain the dosage; and also antibiotic but I already know what to do with the antibiotic. I thought the prednisone was a little high--40 mg everyday for seven days. It may be a good dose but for me, it gives me quiver and crave for food that's the reason why I was hesitant to take it. She did offer me to be nebulizer but I said I'll do it at home.

This place is a hidden gem! I always try and avoid urgent care places as itโ€™s usually a long wait, lots of people, not the cleanest and just difficult. But here, once I arrived the check in was seamless, the staff was friendly, the office very clean. And to top it off my doctor spent so much time with me ane was kind and listened. Highly recommend!

The online scheduling was easy with the time slot availability shown. The hour is great, open later than others in the area, avoided going to ER. I arrived & check-in was smooth & no wait. Aria looked over my wound & stitch up the cut, & the support staff was friendly & professional. I barely felt it during the process, & she periodically reminded me if too painful, she can numb more. Great facility!

Great first experience. The only issue I have is that no one there answers the phone. We got a prescription sent to a pharmacy (our standard one) and the pharmacy didnโ€™t have it in stock. Because carbon health does not answer the phone, where I could have had them submit the scrip to a new pharmacy, I needed to be the middle person on a wild goose chase between the pharmacy that didnโ€™t have the medication and one that did. This is a very stressful position to be in as a parent with a very sick kid who desperately needs medicine. Other than that one component, I was happy with the experience. I reflected my disappointment under โ€œstaff friendlinessโ€, as I wasnโ€™t sure where else to put it. Staff wasnโ€™t unfriendly, they just didnโ€™t answer the phone.

Melanie went out of her way to accommodate my husband and me when we came in to get Covid tests. Due to our unforeseen scheduling error, we didn't have an appointment at that time, but she said we could wait in case she could fit us in between patients, even though they were fully booked. She was able to complete our tests quickly and courteously. We were extremely pleased with the care we received. Thanks, Melanie!

My husband & I tested positive for COVID this AM. We both were able to very conveniently make online appointments for medical evaluations within 30 minutes of our requests. The UC Village-Albany Urgent Care clinic is modern and attractive with highly efficient, very welcoming, friendly, professional & personable administrative and medical staffs. All of the medical personnel have very kind and empathetic bedside manners and listened very well to (and heard!) and were responsive to our medical concerns and questions. We both were in and out of our appointments within 30 minutes. We are very appreciative and truly grateful to have your clinic so conveniently located near our home. Please keep up the great work!

Why did you close the Montclair site? Open only on Wednesday for dermatology? Not good. People need urgent care. Not once a week. Open back up

Everything was great, especially my nurse practitioner. I have been there several times for everything from a broken bone to covid symptoms this time and it has always been excellent. Can't figured out the star system, but check the highest rating for me. Thanks for your help.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the virus should get tested for hepatitis. This includes people who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, received a blood transfusion before 1992, or have lived with someone who has the virus. Moreover, people born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C, according to the CDC. Therefore, this group should also get tested, regardless of any known exposure.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it helps in early detection and treatment, preventing further liver damage. It also helps prevent the spread of the virus to others. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not have symptoms and do not know they are infected. If left untreated, hepatitis can lead to serious health issues, including liver disease, liver cancer, and death.

Hepatitis testing options in Martinez, CA:

Free STD testing and community health centers

Free STD testing and community health centers are other viable options for hepatitis testing. These centers often provide testing at a lower cost or even free of charge for those who qualify.

At-home testing

Moreover, Solano County, where Martinez is located, has seen an increase in hepatitis cases over recent years.

In addition to hepatitis, other STDs such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, and syphilis are also prevalent in Martinez and the surrounding areas. These diseases, like hepatitis, are often asymptomatic, making regular testing crucial.
