When I arrived, check-in was quick. The nurse on duty was the sweetest nurse I think Iโ€™ve ever dealt with in my 45 years of life! The NP on duty is the same I saw on my last visit and sheโ€™s VERY thorough. I wish I could use this office for my PCP, they are fantastic! I 100% would recommend!

It was easy to get in but everything this sweet NP told me was wrong. I wasted 200 hundred dollars to be sent to ER. No treatment whatsoever from American Family. ER said I was fine. No Alcohol in my system. Liver fine. No tremors and no need for CT scan. Also was told blood pressure was high but at ER it was totally fine. Heart fine. Blood Panel fine. So in other words, yโ€™all got free $200 and you didnโ€™t even have to do anything so thanks literally for nothing. But the staff was kind got in quickly but who wouldnโ€™t get in quickly if they want to take your 200 bucks? Sorry but true. All I needed was rest and hydration.

One of the better experiences I have had at urgent care. My wait was about an hour to get into triage. I was swabbed for three tests that I was told would take 10 minutes. Although it did take another 45-60 minutes for the doctor to deliver the results, I overheard that the staff was overworked, overbooked, and exhausted. They apparently had a very large influx of patients, and as a commercial service worker I understand. Everyone was friendly and thorough, and I believe they did the best they could. They are only human, and they are very nice humans indeed. I had Dr. Bradley Collins. I didnโ€™t catch the receptionistโ€™s name, but she was straightforward and helpful.

About Celiac (Gluten) Disease Testing Panel

The Celiac Disease Testing Panel is a set of diagnostic tests used to identify Celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder triggered by the ingestion of gluten. This panel helps healthcare providers assess the presence of specific antibodies associated with Celiac disease and aids in confirming the diagnosis.

Who Should Get Tested

If you reside in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and have symptoms suggestive of Celiac disease, such as chronic gastrointestinal issues, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, or skin rashes, Celiac Disease Testing Panel is recommended. Additionally, individuals with a family history of Celiac disease or other autoimmune disorders may benefit from this testing to rule out or confirm the condition.

Tests Included in Celiac Disease Testing Panel

The Celiac Disease Testing Panel typically includes the following tests:

  1. Tissue Transglutaminase Antibody (tTG-IgA): Measures the presence of antibodies produced in response to gluten ingestion.
  2. Endomysial Antibody (EMA-IgA): Detects antibodies directed against the body's own tissues affected by gluten ingestion.
  3. Total Serum IgA: Measures the overall level of immunoglobulin A (IgA) in the blood, which helps ensure accurate antibody test results.

Interpreting the Results

If the Celiac Disease Testing Panel shows elevated levels of tTG-IgA and EMA-IgA antibodies and normal total serum IgA, it indicates a high likelihood of Celiac disease. A positive result may lead to further evaluation, including an endoscopic biopsy of the small intestine to confirm the diagnosis.

Following the Test

If the Celiac Disease Testing Panel confirms Celiac disease, your healthcare provider will discuss dietary modifications to eliminate gluten from your diet. Gluten-free diets are essential for managing Celiac disease and preventing complications related to gluten consumption.

Early detection and proper management of Celiac disease through the Celiac Disease Testing Panel can lead to improved quality of life and prevent long-term health issues associated with gluten ingestion.
