Pediatric urgent care near me in Berkeley, CA

Great first experience. The only issue I have is that no one there answers the phone. We got a prescription sent to a pharmacy (our standard one) and the pharmacy didn’t have it in stock. Because carbon health does not answer the phone, where I could have had them submit the scrip to a new pharmacy, I needed to be the middle person on a wild goose chase between the pharmacy that didn’t have the medication and one that did. This is a very stressful position to be in as a parent with a very sick kid who desperately needs medicine. Other than that one component, I was happy with the experience. I reflected my disappointment under “staff friendliness”, as I wasn’t sure where else to put it. Staff wasn’t unfriendly, they just didn’t answer the phone.

I was from out of town and was able to get a same day appointment without issue. I only waited about 5 minutes after arriving and all the staff, nurse and doctor were kind and very helpful. My prescriptions were send to the correct location and ready for pick up in an hour. Overall excellent experience. Would definitely recommend.

Waited over 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Staff was friendly all around but some seemed very new and inexperienced, and instructions were unclear sometimes. Gave me a preliminary diagnosis but only told me my final diagnosis as I was literally walking out. Never followed up or shared anything formal with next steps with this updated diagnosis. Appreciated the upfront pricing, though and they were nice.

The doctor was great. She listened helped and cared for us.  The whole staff was amazing.

My only comment is the difficulty in checking in on the phone. There should be a paper alternative.

My experience was fine in office but the billing department has inaccurately billed me for equipment and reaching the billing department to make corrections has been terrible. They do not answer their phone and you are placed on hold and nobody answers. The billing error was significant.

I had a hand injury from a carabiner on my dog leash .  They cleaned and glued my wound and ordered a tetanus shot.  Very efficient and carefully done.  I am very grateful.

Multiple issues addressed thoroughly. Great staff. No wait. Further follow up. Highly impressed.
